The guitar playing is some of the best I've honestly ever heard in death metal. It's punishing to an extreme degree, relentlessly brutal, and it includes phenomenal deep guttural gurgling imbued feeling put intoxication. Liriknya adalah tema-tema konyol khas death/gore metal yang brutal, seperti darah, pembunuhan bayi, seks di kuburan, namun karena musiknya yang benar-benar gelap, musik ini memberikan nada kebiadaban yang jauh lebih biadab dan tak kenal ampun. Banyak band death metal brutal yang memainkan riff slam chugga chugga chugga dua nada tanpa ada yang lain di antaranya dan memiliki lirik yoyo boy dengan topi baseball. Namun, PED mencoba tampil teknis dalam struktur musikalnya, memberikan getaran yang jauh lebih gelap dan serius. Seperti oh Shit ! PED memang tidak main-main dengan hal ini, PED benar-benar bermaksud memutilasi dan menyiksa kalian audiens BDM, lalu memperkosa mayatnya setelah dimutilasi. all the heaviness a brutal death gore fan could want, from tightly wound blast beats to 3/4 waltzes a la Suffocation. As catchy as it is horrid, this truly does deserve to be on the shelves of metalheads the world over and then some. From its clunking bass, fanatic drumming, old school riffage, evil gutturals, and groove, PED still proves to stand the test of time more than 20 years later.
