The most immediately obvious aspect of bands come from Blitar city, East Java, Indonesia is the cruel nameless dark production. The sound is darkness incarnate, yet there also a decaying warmth to the overall tone that provides a paradoxical sense of fire and ice in how to record beast black metal. The cold, evil, dark, calculated, satanic, beast, chilling sounds throughout the album are the most accurate depiction of what a standard black metal outing should sound and be like, since the songwriting is incredibly well polished, leaving no riff up to chance, the lyrics are truly beast with fast tremollos and constantly evoke the darkest of images, and the calculated, orchestrated playing of every single instrument and manic, deadly vocal delivery have probably never been matched in a similar way by any other black metal band in existence. With tremolo pickings aplenty, the rhythm guitars don't really progress that much. Again, band material is rich in very dark atmosphere thanks to the cleverly crafted riffing. Just listen to the blazing riffs It builds up a sense of foreboding malevolence known only to few. Those who appreciate this kind of black metal will understand what I'm trying to say. outpouring of aggression is blinding, brutal, and actually quite boring. You can turn on any song on this album and won't know which one it is. When it's over, absolutely none of it will stick in your head. And come to think of it, it really even sound that evil ! The materialized sonic qualities, initially too polished for my taste, quickly revealed themselves as ideally suited to the band's vision. While some critics have pointed out a lack of diversity in the tracks and the dense production, they miss the mark. This composed wasn't meant for complexity or warmth, it demanded a sound that was as frigid and ruthless as the thematic material it conveyed—a sound that Ungodless delivered exquisitely.
